Davido to release fifth album “5ive” in March

Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Davido has announced plans to release his fifth studio album, titled 5ive.
The 32-year-old father of four revealed that the highly anticipated album is scheduled for release in March 2025.
Taking to his social media platforms, Davido teased fans with hints about the album’s thematic depth and creative exploration.
He assured his followers of his continued legacy of producing chart-topping hits while embracing fresh musical directions.
“Afrobeats can’t be brought up without my name. Impossible,” Davido declared.
Expressing excitement about the project, he added, “This album is a reflection of my journey—where I have been and where I am going. ‘Funds’ is just the beginning of what I believe will be a special project for my fans and African music.”
Davido’s previous albums include O.B.O, A Good Time, A Better Time, and Timeless.
