Davido visits Tinubu after two years in office

Nigerian music star Davido has paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The visit comes two years after the election that brought Tinubu to power, during which Davido publicly expressed support for PDP candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Popular artiste manager Ubi Franklin and socialite-turned-singer Cubana Chief Priest accompanied Davido on the visit.
“They are both your members, sir, they are APC,” Davido said to Tinubu as his aides received a handshake from the President.
The President responded, “Very good. We succeeded and made it to the presidency.”
The visit has stirred conversations about the possibility of Davido and his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, defecting to the ruling party, APC.
