Do-It-All Night Club boss laid to rest in Imo

The remains of Chief Macdonald Nsonwu, popularly known as Mac Dee, the erstwhile boss of the defunct Do-It-All Night Club, have been laid to rest in Imo State.
Mac Dee was interred on Friday, January 3, 2025, at his hometown in Alaenyi Ogwa, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.
The renowned businessman, who held the title Uzinakwaoji 1 of Igbo Land, passed away in November 2024 after a brief illness at the age of 64.
Mac Dee’s Do-It-All Night Club, formerly located in the Opebi area of Ikeja, Lagos, was a hotspot in the hospitality industry between 2003 and 2009. After selling the club in 2009, he relocated to Owerri, the Imo State capital.
In the same year, he established another hospitality venture named 40-40, a one-stop entertainment center that quickly became a favorite destination for the elite and influential.
Mac Dee also served as a Special Adviser to former Imo State Governor, Chief Ikedi Ohakim, during his tenure.
The late Chief Macdonald Nsonwu is remembered as a prominent figure in Nigeria’s entertainment and hospitality industries, leaving a legacy of innovation and excellence.
