Do people still marry for love? Yvonne Nelson asks social media fans

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson on her twitter handle said people now marry for different reasons which are mostly transactional.

The popular female actor expressed her thoughts on why people marry their respective partners and ended with a question if there is still genuine love in relationships.

Yvonne Nelson tweeted: “Some marry for the money, others for a passport, others for kids, others because of a banging body, etc errmm,” she listed.

The ‘Fifty Fity’ actress listed different reasons people get married but ended her tweet with rhetorical question asking if people still marry because of love.

She wondered: “Do peeps still marry because they love each other or because one is intelligent? Or does everyone now have an agenda?”

The actress recently announced plans to release her new feature film entitled ‘Fifty Fity’ on May 21, 2022.

The film, which has been in post-production for some months, features John Dumelo, Majid Michel and Anthony Woode, including her.
