Doyin Okupe hails Tinubu’s victory as APC presidential candidate

Former presidential spokesman, Doyin Okupe has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for emerging the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress at the party’s presidential primaries on Wednesday.

Okupe in a statement on his Facebook page said Tinubu emerged victorious after a dogged and courageous fight.

He also hailed Northern APC governors for ensuring the party picked a Southern presidential candidate.

“I wish to congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his dogged and courageous fight and his eventual victory in the APC Primaries.

“I also extend my hearty congratulations to the 13 northern governors who re initiated the move for power shift to the south. We look forward to a healthy robust and issue based interactions during the coming campaigns,” Okupe said.
