Driver flees as three persons died in Osun road accident

Three people were confirmed dead in an accident along Prism Steel Company, Ikirun-Osogbo Expressway on Tuesday.
The accident involved a Lexus 350 car with the Registration Lagos Number SMK 17 JK and unregistered trailer.
According to an eye witness, the accident was as a result of reckless driving and overspeeding by the driver of the trailer.
It was also gathered that the driver of the trailer took to his heels when the accident happened.
A statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun Command, Kehinde Adeleke, said the three persons in the Lexus car died on the spot.
Adeleke said that the victims had been taken to a yet to be identified morgue, adding that the intelligent officer of the division covered the scene.
