Dr. Rhoda Makinde, the founder of the Dr. Rhoda Makinde Initiative (DROMI) and wife of Abiola Makinde, a House of Representatives member representing Ondo East/West Federal Constituency, has called on Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration. She voiced confidence that Tinubu’s leadership would steer Nigeria toward a prosperous future.
Makinde made these remarks at the Osun State Food Palliative Drive held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Center in Osogbo. She encouraged citizens to support the administration through patience and prayers as it addresses Nigeria’s economic and social challenges.
Highlighting that the current hardships are temporary, she assured attendees that the administration is working diligently to implement changes that will ultimately benefit the nation.
“The President is tirelessly working to make Nigeria great again,” Makinde affirmed.
During the event, which provided relief to 250 women, beneficiaries received essential food items, including rice and vegetable oil.
The Osun State coordinator of DROMI, Mrs. Florence Babasola, commended the initiative’s commitment to supporting marginalized communities and empowering individuals facing economic hardships.
Expressing appreciation, one of the beneficiaries, Grace Omoniyi, praised Dr. Makinde’s efforts and urged other well-meaning Nigerians to support similar humanitarian efforts.
