E-Money celebrates release from EFCC custody

Popular showbiz personality and businessman, E-Money, has expressed joy following his release from detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

E-Money broke his silence shortly after regaining freedom on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. He had been arrested the previous night, Monday, April 28, for allegedly spraying U.S. dollars at a public event — an act said to violate Nigeria’s Foreign Exchange Act.

Taking to Instagram, E-Money shared a video in which he thanked fans and supporters for their concern and solidarity during the ordeal.

“No tension, everywhere good. I see all your love and support. God bless you all. #ItIsTooLateToFailMe,” he said.

The EFCC has yet to release an official statement on the case.
