Suleiman commended the organisation for its efforts to address environmental challenges, describing youth participation as crucial to driving innovation, promoting environmental responsibility and fostering community development.
She said the Upstream Plastic Recovery project aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals on sustainable cities, responsible consumption, climate action and partnerships.
According to her, the SDGs Office is willing to collaborate with youth-led organisations whose initiatives support the state’s sustainability objectives.
Earlier, Egbunike said the project aims to promote a cleaner and healthier environment, adding that its objectives align with the SDGs and the Edo State Government’s development priorities.
