EFCC arraigns Agunloye in court over alleged fraud

The former minister of power and steel, Olu Agunloye, has been arraigned by the EFCC over fraud allegations linked to the $6 billion Mambilla hydropower project.

He appeared before a federal high court in Abuja on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

He was remanded in Kuje prison until he fulfills the bail conditions.

Agunloye had turned himself in after the anti-graft agency late last year declared him wanted.
