EFCC arrests two suspected internet fraudsters at musician, Skales’, house
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested two men suspected of being involved in online dating scams at the house of a popular Nigerian musician, Skales.
The EFCC operatives raided the house located at Victoria Crest 4, Lekki, Lagos, on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, and apprehended Udemba Chukwuemeka, also known as Jody, and Jamal Jamiu Onasola, also known as Jamal.
They were both arrested for alleged dating scam.
The suspects also revealed that they were living in the house of Skales, whose real name is John Njeng Njeng, for two years and few months respectively. They described the musician as their “mentor”.
They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
