EFCC boss clinches anti-graft accountability award

The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has been recognized as Nigeria’s leading anti-graft accountability champion.
This prestigious accolade was announced at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service, an event organized by The Best Strategic PR (TBS) in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
Mr. Olukoyede was the sole recipient of the Anti-Graft Accountability Award, celebrated for his exceptional performance and dedication in public service. Vice-President Kashim Shettima presented the award at the State House Conference Centre.
Mariam Mohammed, Managing Partner and Founder of the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service, commended Olukoyede for his significant contributions to public service.
She praised his efforts in improving public service delivery, taking courageous risks to foster positive change, advocating for democracy, championing social equity, reforming governmental institutions, achieving substantial cost savings in government operations, and developing a cadre of influential government leaders.
This recognition follows another recent honor for the EFCC Chairman, who was awarded the “Man of Valour” by the Global Peace Movement International last week.
Other notable awardees at the ceremony included the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun; Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; as well as various governors and industry leaders.
