Ekiti Gov mourns Alara of Aramoko, Oba Olu-Adeyemi

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Alara of Aramoko-Ekiti, Oba Adegoke Olu-Adeyemi, who died on August 8, 2025, at the age of 82.
In a condolence message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, the Governor described the late monarch as a father figure and a pillar of support who dedicated his reign to the progress of Aramoko-Ekiti, his subjects, and the entire state.
The Governor commended the royal father’s exemplary leadership and passion for development, noting that his wisdom and quality of thought inspired his people throughout his reign.
He also highlighted the monarch’s unwavering support for governance in both Ekiti and the old Ondo State, where he rose to the rank of Permanent Secretary and served in several ministries.
“Kabiyesi Alara was a father figure and a role model who gave his people and humanity his best and used wisdom to lead his people and attract development to the Aramoko community,” the governor said.
“On behalf of the government and people of Ekiti State, I condole with the good people of Aramoko Ekiti, the Alara-in-Council, and the immediate and extended family. May God grant our dear departed Kabiyesi eternal rest.”
