Ekiti govt cancels Oct environmental sanitation exercise

The Ekiti State Government has announced the cancellation of the October edition of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
A statement issued in Ado-Ekiti from the Office of the Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, said the decision affects the entire state.
The statement, however, urged residents to continue maintaining clean and healthy surroundings by properly disposing of their waste and keeping their environment tidy at all times.
It added that the state government appreciates the cooperation and understanding of all citizens in ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
