His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola Ajobo Olurin I, the Eleruwa of Eruwa, has appealed to all sons and daughters of the town, both within Nigeria and abroad, to contribute to Eruwa’s growth through strategic investments.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by the palace’s Director of Media and Public Communications, Mr. Sunday Adedokun, the monarch emphasized the role of homegrown efforts in transforming Eruwa into a hub of economic and social advancement.
“There is truly no place like home. No matter how attractive life abroad may seem, Eruwa remains our heritage, and its development is our shared responsibility,” Oba Adegbola said.
He identified key sectors such as agriculture, education, tourism, technology, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as areas with vast potential that require focused investment.
Oba Adegbola assured potential investors of a peaceful and secure environment, noting that the palace and traditional council are committed to supporting all development-driven initiatives in the town.
“The time is ripe for our people to look inward. What Eruwa needs now is the vision, commitment, and resources of its own sons and daughters,” the monarch added.
He further stated that investing in Eruwa should be seen not just as a business venture, but as a contribution to cultural preservation and community legacy.
The Eleruwa reaffirmed the readiness of the Eruwa Traditional Council to work with investors, promising a business-friendly climate that will support and sustain economic progress.
