Eniola Ajao reveals she got pregnant at 20 while in Yabatech

Nigerian actress and filmmaker Eniola Ajao has revealed she got pregnant at the age of 20 while studying at the City University of Technology, Yaba, formerly known as Yaba College of Technology.
Speaking on the Talk To B podcast, Ajao recounted the emotional turmoil and fear she experienced at the time.
“Getting pregnant at 20 was dramatic. You feel like the world is crashing. You want to hide it from your parents and the public,” she said.
She explained that societal expectations and fear of stigma made the experience even more overwhelming.
“Where I come from, they expect you to finish school, graduate, and get your life in order. It wasn’t shameful to me, but it was seen as too early by many.”
Ajao said only close friends and family were aware of the pregnancy due to the fear of being judged or labeled.
