Eshilokun organises appreciation party, unveils social pact with constituents
The Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, Wasiu Eshilokun, has unveiled his ‘social pact’ with the people of the district.
Eshilokun, who unveiled a policy booklet titled ‘Sustaining a Legacy of Excellence, My Social Contract with the people of Lagos Central Senatorial district’ at Eko Club, hosted council chairmen, party leaders, community leaders, youths, market men and women, artisans, Lagos white cap chiefs, religious leaders, GAC members and other stakeholders within Lagos Central.
The Senator thanked the stakeholders for their efforts and contributions to his success at the polls, assuring that he would stand by his promises.
Acknowledging those who supported him during his campaign financially, Eshilokun promised to be guided by the tenets of his ‘social pact’ with the people as their Senator.
“I want to use this opportunity to express my appreciation to our leader and President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife, Senator Remi Tinubu, for their mentorship and support to my political growth over the years.
“I appreciate the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Remi Tinubu for the legacy of good representation and impactful programmes that I intend to inherit and build upon,” he said.
Speaking further, he appreciated his immediate family for standing by him as well the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu and his deputy, Mr Obafemi Hamzat.
Eshilokun also thanked members of his campaign council for their commitment during the political campaign.
