EU appoints 25 Nigerian youths into decision board
The European Union has selected 25 young Nigerians in its bid to reduce challenges of youth inclusion and policy making in Governance.
The programme is aimed at actualising the “European Union Youth Sounding board, Cohort 2”.
The young Nigerians are expected to use the platform to make their voices heard and represent the voices of other youths in the country while getting involved in EU’s Cooperation policy in Nigeria.
The programme will allow youths to have influence on policy and programmes of EU in Nigeria as inclusion of all segments of the country in governance is one sure way of enhancing the pace of national development.
Some members of the cohort who just completed their programme, say the project is one that provides a platform for the youths to get it right.
The 25-member inaugurated youth sounding board has a mandate of 3 years to complete its assignment
