Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur secured second-leg wins to set up an all-English final in the UEFA Europa League.
Holding a 4-1 advantage from the first leg, United returned to Old Trafford and inflicted another 4-1 defeat on Athletic Club to progress to the final with a 7-1 aggregate victory.
United overcame a shaky start to turn things around in the second half, after the Spanish side took the lead in the 31st minute through Mikel Jauregizar.
Mason Mount equalized in the 72nd minute, followed by Casemiro’s goal in the 79th. Rasmus Højlund added a third in the 85th minute, before Mount completed his brace with a stoppage-time strike.
In Norway, Dominic Solanke and Pedro Porro scored in the 63rd and 69th minutes, respectively, to give Tottenham a 2-0 win over Bodø/Glimt.
The victory secured Spurs a 5-1 aggregate win, having previously defeated the Norwegian side 3-1 in the first leg at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham have now been handed a golden opportunity to end their 41-year trophy drought, with fellow English side Manchester United standing in their way.
The all-English final will be held in the Spanish city of Bilbao on May 21.
