Ex-Kano SSG vows to expose Gov Yusuf, Kwankwaso, alleges misconduct

Abdullahi Baffa, the recently dismissed Secretary to the Kano State Government, has pledged to reveal alleged misconduct involving Governor Abba Yusuf and his political mentor, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Mr. Baffa, who was removed from his position last week during a cabinet reshuffle, claimed to possess incriminating evidence, including documents, voice recordings, and videos, which he promised to release “at the right time.”
Addressing supporters upon his return from Saudi Arabia, Mr. Baffa accused the governor and Mr. Kwankwaso of deceit and betrayal. “I’m happy that I completed my assignment in peace.
This is not the best time to talk, but at the appropriate moment, we will expose them for what they truly are,” he said.
Describing his former colleagues as “untrustworthy,” Mr. Baffa stated: “They don’t know anything except deceit, betrayal, and treachery. They are not people to be trusted.”
He also reassured his supporters in Bichi that the evidence he has gathered, including written documents, audio, and video recordings, will be unveiled soon. “We have documented everything to ensure people understand who they really are,” he said.
Efforts to reach the spokespersons for Governor Yusuf and Mr. Kwankwaso for comments were unsuccessful, as Ibrahim Waiya and Saifullahi Hassan did not respond to calls.
