Ex-NBA President, Olumide Akpata regales the joy of Ofala festival
Olumide Akpata, Labour Party Governorship aspirant in Edo State and former President of the Nigerian Bar Association has shared the joy of his participation at this year’s Ofala Festival in Onitsha, Anambra State.
The former NBA helmsman attended the annual festival as a guest of Obi of Onitsha, His Majesty Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe.
Akpata took to his social media handles to share pictures from the exotic cultural fiesta.
“I had the honour of attending the 2023 Ofala Festival, which took place on Saturday 14 October 2023 in Onitsha, Anambra State on the invitation of His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, CFR (Agbogidi). It is always a delight to witness firsthand the wealth of cultural riches that Nigeria is abundantly blessed with in different parts of the country. As an unrepentant optimist and firm believer in the Nigerian project, I will continue to look forward to a time when our similarities will outweigh our differences.”
