Ex-Senate President, Pius Anyim formally joins APC

A former Senate president and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim has formally joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

On June 29, rumours circulated that the former legislator had defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives (APC).

Abdullahi Ganduje, the party’s National Chairman, and other Southeast party stakeholders, including Hope Uzodinma, the Governor of Imo State formally welcomed Senator Anyim into the organisation on Saturday at the Abakaliki Stadium in Ebonyi State.
