Ex- Sports Minister, Bolaji Abdullahi quits PDP

A former Minister of Sports, Mallam Abdulganiyu Bolaji Abdullahi has officially dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).

In a resignation letter dated December 16, 2024, addressed to the PDP Ward Chairman of Ubandawak iWard in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, Abdullahi said he had ample time to reflect, and have come to the difficult conclusion that this is the only tenable option for him at this time.

Although, he did not disclose his next political move.

The former Sports Minister expressed gratitude to the leadership PDP for the opportunities he had to serve the state and the country and for the great moments they shared.

Mallam Abdullahi had served as National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Commissioner for Education in Kwara State before serving as Minister of Sports.
