EXCLUSIVE: Oyebanji receives APC certificate of election

By Innocent Raphael –

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has officially received his certificate of election from the All Progressives Congress (APC), confirming his eligibility to contest for a second term in office.

The certificate follows the APC governorship primary election conducted through affirmation in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, where Governor Oyebanji emerged as the party’s candidate.

WESTERN POST reports that claims by some political opponents suggesting that the APC had withdrawn or withheld the governor’s certificate have been proven unfounded.

The newspaper has reliably gathered that Governor Oyebanji and his deputy governorship candidate, Mrs Monisade Afuye, have been duly issued their certificates.

The documents, shared in this report were uploaded on the APC portal on December 8 and are available for verification.
