The family of Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, widely known as Toluwanisings, has announced a night of tributes in honour of the late singer while rallying support for his widow.

The family made the announcement through the singer’s Instagram page on Wednesday, days after dismissing reports of burial plans and clarifying that it would communicate such information in due time.

The ceremony is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, Ibadan, at 3 p.m. The family urged the public to join in celebrating the singer’s life, with white as the dress code, while reflecting on his legacy.

“With heavy hearts, yet in gratitude to God for a life that touched many, we invite you to join us for a Night of Tributes in honour of our beloved brother, friend, and gospel minister, Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji, fondly known as Toluwanisings. It will be a night of love, reflection, heartfelt tributes, cherished memories, and thanksgiving to God for the life he lived and the legacy he leaves behind,” the family said.

In a separate Instagram post, the bereaved family also launched a fundraiser to support Toluwanisings’ widow and children, urging the public to help sustain his legacy by contributing to their welfare as they navigate this new phase of life.

The family provided the following account details for contributions: Olayemi Elizabeth Damilola, Sterling Bank, account number 0150641156. The appeal was captioned “A Call for Love and Support.”

“As we mourn the loss of our beloved brother, let us stand with his wife during this difficult season. Every contribution, no matter how small, is a gesture of love and compassion. Please support her through the account details provided. May God bless every giving heart and grant the family strength and comfort,” the family said.

Western Post reports that the family had earlier dismissed a fundraiser shared by a purported charity organisation, the Tolaoluwa Foundation, after which the foundation apologised for taking the decision without the family’s permission.
