Father, Son in fear over threat to life, family members

One Hon. Adewunmi Oyebade his living in fear over threat to his life and that of his members amid quest to run for the post of the chief accountant in Ekiti State’s party. 

One of his son’s, Mr. Rawlings Dapo Oyebade, who resides at 53, Adeite Rd, Agbede Transformer, Ikorodu, Lagos state, stated that since his father declared his ambition to becoming chief accountants, he has been receiving numerous threat from unknown persons via phone calls and Short Message Service (SMS).. 

Hon. Oyebade, who’s currently the accountant of the Ekiti south local government, stated that those after his life and that of his extend family are desperate and ready to do anything to stop his lifetime ambition. 

According to his son, the threat issue started after his father declared to run for the post of the chief accountant for the state’ party. 

Hon. Oyebade stated that the threat has been getting worse and worrying after his son who is currently out of the country on studies, alarmed the family that he has been getting series upon series of threatening calls from private numbers and unknown individuals on his life which has really toiled on his mental health and academic performance.

The threat has also affected Hon Adebunmi’s wife who has recently been a victim of physical assault in Ekiti state and also been depressed after hearing her son got death call threats.

Hon. Adebunmi stated that he’s very worried for his son being a target for termination on his arrival to Nigeria, according to a reliable source that there has been a bounty on his head for information on his arrival back to the country.
