Fayemi engages Ekiti Assembly, rallies support for Oyebanji, APC unity

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, on Monday held a strategic meeting with members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, led by Speaker Rt. Hon. Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye, where he reaffirmed his commitment to theqq state’s development andq the unity of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting was confirmed in a statement signed by Hon. Babatunde Oke, Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, who described it as inspiring and focused on building a shared vision for Ekiti’s future.
During the engagement, Dr. Fayemi urged lawmakers to deepen engagement in their constituencies, strengthen institutional frameworks, and adopt a broader perspective on long-term development goals for Ekiti State.

He emphasized the importance of party cohesion, stressing that unity within the APC was vital to securing electoral victories and consolidating ongoing developmental achievements under Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
The former governor expressed confidence that with disciplined and united efforts, the APC would continue to win elections and drive meaningful change across the state.
Dr. Fayemi also praised the 7th Ekiti State House of Assembly for its legislative accomplishments and challenged the current Assembly to build on that legacy by enacting impactful laws that improve the lives of citizens.

He reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to the progress and prosperity of Ekiti and called for sustained collaboration among all political stakeholders to move the state forward.
