FCT Police probe officer for harassing woman at Galadimawa Roundabout
The Nigeria Police Force in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja said, it has called in and commenced disciplinary action against a policeman on duty at Galadimawa Roundabout for stop-and-search operations, after he was seen harassing a woman on the night of October 6, 2024.
Spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, Superintendent of Police Josephine Adeh announced on X on Wednesday morning. According to her, the victim has come forward and identified the policeman involved. She added that trial proceedings as well as disciplinary action against the erring officer have started.

A video had surfaced online on Tuesday, showing an altercation between a woman in a car and her friend and some policemen at the popular Galadimawa Roundabout in Abuja. The victim in the video, accused one of the policemen of slapping her twice on the face, leaving her with a bloodied eyeball.
