FCT Police takes over looted NEMA warehouse
The Nigeria Police Force, Federal Capital Territory Command, has taken control of the situation at a warehouse some residents of Abuja reportedly invaded.
The warehouse at Karimo, Phase 3, FCT, Abuja, belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), was looted by some unknown youths Sunday morning.
An unverified video on social media shows youths carting away items from the warehouse.
But reacting to the development, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident, assuring the situation is now under control.
