The signing ceremony, held in Adamawa State, was described as a significant step towards improving healthcare delivery across the nation.
The Coordinating Minister for Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Ali Pate, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Daju Kachollom, highlighted the initiative as part of the Federal Ministry of Health’s commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
Prof. Pate emphasized that upgrading the hospitals to federal institutions would strengthen health services not only for residents of Adamawa State but also for the broader North-East region and neighboring countries.
He noted, “This initiative will not just serve the people of Mubi and Hong but will have far-reaching benefits for the entire North-East region and beyond.”
