FG launches delivery tracker to monitor performance in MDAs

The Federal Government has inaugurated the Presidential Delivery Tracks and Central Delivery Coordinating Unit Website.

The PDT/CDCU device is developed to track, review and periodically report the activities of MDAs, performance of ministers, permanent secretaries and others in the delivery of the ministerial mandates assigned to them.

At launch at the presidential villa in Abuja, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, explained that the CDCU was introduced in 2019 towards the achievement of the nine priorities goals of the present administration.

Mr Mustapha stated that the PDT/CDCU App is a co-creation platform that aims to connect citizens to governance in Nigeria by increasing citizens’ access to the Federal Government’s Presidential priority policies, programmes and projects.

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Dr Zainab Ahmed said that the website was a citizen-based mobile tracking app which allowed citizens to send on-the-spot feedback on project implementation aimed at promoting public accountability.

The minister added that the device would also improve service delivery in all government institutions.
