Fire guts Accord Party governorship candidate, Ogunbiyi’s house in Osun

The residence of the Accord Party (AP) candidate in the Osun State governorship election, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi has been gutted by fire.

The fire, according to reports, broke out in the early hours of Sunday and destroyed property in the house, located at Ileogbo, Ayedire Local Government Area.

Aa at the time of filing this report, the cause of the inferno was unknown.

It was gathered that no one was hurt in the infernor.

A resident, who did not want his name mentioned said: “Fire gutted a section of Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi’s house yesterday morning. 

“Residents were able to put out the fire after havoc had been wreaked on the property. To the glory of God, no one was injured.”
