First ladies take campaign against cancer to University of Abuja Teaching hospital

Six governors’ wives under the First Ladies Against Cancer (FLAC) have taken the campaign against cancer to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.

The First Ladies led by Erelu Bisi Fayemi, wife of Ekiti State governor met with the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Professor Bissallah Ahmed Ekele and some of the senior management of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital as part of FLAC activities for the year.

Mrs. Fayemi and her colleagues donated N1million to help some of the cancer patients at the hospital.

In her Facebook post, Mrs. Fayemi wrote:

“I and my six colleagues and sister First Ladies present visited the pediatrics cancer ward and the female surgical ward.

“Presentation of cash supports of over one million naira, was made to patients to help them with their treatments.”
