The Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, has commended Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her contributions to the country’s efforts in attracting and sustaining foreign direct investment (FDI).

During a courtesy visit to the First Lady at the State House in Abuja, Oduwole praised Tinubu’s diplomatic engagements on the international stage, describing her as an eloquent and intelligent representative of Nigeria. She cited Tinubu’s recent engagements in Addis Ababa and her upcoming meetings with other first ladies as strategic advantages for the country.

“When you have a First Lady who can truly represent your country like she does, it is an advantage,” Oduwole said. “She made us proud in Addis Ababa and will be hosting a few first ladies soon, which is a positive step for Nigeria’s global presence.”

Beyond diplomacy, Oduwole also highlighted the First Lady’s humanitarian efforts through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), which focuses on poverty reduction, especially in rural communities. She noted that these initiatives align with the government’s goal of ensuring prosperity for all Nigerians.
