Head coach of Nigeria’s U-20 national team, the Flying Eagles, Aliyu Zubairu, has assured that his team will go all out for victory in their final Group B match against Kenya.

Zubairu made the remarks in his post-match interview after the Flying Eagles were held to a goalless draw by Morocco on Sunday.

“With the game against Morocco behind us, our focus is now on Kenya. Our target is the maximum three points,” the coach stated.

He emphasized that his team will not underestimate the bottom-placed Kenyans, saying, “We will leave no stone unturned to secure the important three points.”

“We watched their game against Morocco and now understand their strengths. We will take them seriously because winning that match is our top priority,” Zubairu added.

Reflecting on the draw with Morocco, he said the team’s main objective was to secure all three points, but he still considered the result satisfactory.

“Our intention was to win, but we ended up with a point. It’s not what we hoped for, but it’s still a good result,” he noted.

Zubairu praised his players for sticking to the game plan, highlighting their defensive discipline despite limited chances in attack.
