Forgive Aregbesola – Oba of Lagos appeals to President Tinubu

Oba of Lagos, HRM Rilwan Akiolu has called on President Bola Tinubu to forgive and reconcile with former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

The Monarch made the appeal when he received in his Place, the Minister of State for Works, Bello Goronyo and the MD/CEO FERMA,Chuckwuemeka Agbasi and their team.

It would be recalled that Tinubu and Aregbesola were close allies until their relationship soured over a dispute between Aregbesola and the Minister of Blue Economy and Marine, Gboyega Oyetola, who succeeded Aregbesola as Osun Governor.

Goronyo and Agbasi were on a 2 day Working visit to tour facilities and commission projects around Lagos State.

While Speaking, the Minister explained that the interface with traditional rulers and stakeholders in the Community was necessary to ensure they take charge and guard the facilities and infrastructure constructed by the Federal Government.
