Forgiveness isn’t memory loss, Apostle Suleman responds
By Tosin Brown
The Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has seemingly responded to Halima Abubakar’s public apology regarding her defamatory comments.
In what appeared to be a reaction to Abubakar’s apology, Suleman emphasized that forgiveness does not mean forgetting.
In a brief statement shortly after the apology, Suleman said, “You all stop calling my phone. Forgiveness is not memory loss! Status quo maintained!”
His response may refer to the court ruling in his favor, which ordered Halima Abubakar to pay ₦10 million in damages for defamation and prohibited her from making further defamatory statements against the cleric.
