Former House of Reps deputy speaker, Lasun Yusuf dumps APC

Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuf has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to The PUNCH, Yusuf dropped his letter of resignation at the APC secretariat in Osogbo on Friday.
“Thanks for the enquiry. It is true. I have left APC. That is all I want to say for now,” Yusuf confirmed to The PUNCH.
His decision to leave the APC comes less than 24 hours before the party’s national convention in Abuja.
He is however yet to disclose his new party.
Yusuf placed third in the APC governorship primary election where Governor Gboyega Oyetola emerged the party’s flagbearer on February 19.
