Former Kwara First Lady distributes items to 500 indigents in Ilorin

A former First lady of Kwara State, Lady Evangelist Omolewa Ahmed, has distributed food items, clothes, condiments, children wears worth millions of naira to over 500 women and men in Ilorin, Kwara state.

The distribution came as Christians across the globe prepare for the celebration of Christmas as a gesture to put smiles on the beneficiaries’ faces.

Speaking on behalf of the former First lady, a member of her ministry, God’s Mercy Solution Ministry, Rev Bolaji Odejide, said God gave the former First lady the vision to reach out to world and save people for Christ.

“The vision of God’s Mercy Solution Ministry was given to our mother Lady Evangelist Omolewa Ahmed to reach out to the world and save people for Christ.

“What we are doing here today as we prepare for Christmas is to reach out to people,we want to bring Joy into the heart of men,we are gathered here today reaching out to as many people as possible especially the women with the message of Christ and celebrate the birthday of Jesus by giving items like rice, beans, semovita, textile, children material, condiments and more”, said Odejide.

He said each beneficiary would be going home with items worth over N20,000.

Beneficiaries who spoke separately commended the gesture of the former First lady and prayed for her increase on all sides.

The event also featured free medical tests for the beneficiaries.
