FUTA Teaching Hospital warns the public against fake recruitment advert

By Boye Oyeyemi –

The management of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) Teaching Hospital has disowned a recruitment advert circulating on social media, describing it as a deliberate attempt to mislead job seekers.

The false advert claimed the hospital had contracted a service known as MY PARCEL DELIVERY to manage its recruitment process.

The hospital said no such arrangement existed and that the claim was entirely fraudulent.

In a statement issued to the public, the management stressed that it had not authorised any individual or agency to issue recruitment notices on its behalf.

It said the circulating advert was aimed at exploiting the institution’s name and reputation.

The hospital reaffirmed its commitment to transparent and credible recruitment procedures, urging job seekers to avoid dealing with impostors claiming to represent the institution.

It added that genuine information about employment opportunities would be released “through recognised official channels” at the appropriate time.

The management advised members of the public to disregard all unofficial job adverts and rely only on formal announcements from FUTA Teaching Hospital, Akure.
