Gov AbdulRazaq approves 2023/2024 promotion for TESCOM staff

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the promotion examination for all staff of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) who are due for the 2023/2024 promotion.
The Chairman of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission, Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar, disclosed this in Ilorin today while addressing the management staff of the commission in his office.
He affirmed that this approval is further testimony to Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to improving the welfare of teachers in the state.
Bello recalled that upon assuming office in 2019, His Excellency provided funds to cover the promotions for the years 2015, 2016, and 2017, and has since funded the promotions for 2021 and 2022 as well.
The Chairman, however, urged the affected TESCOM staff to remain committed to their primary assignments to sustain effective service delivery as expected.
Mallam Bello added that the present administration will continue to prioritize staff welfare to motivate them for better performance, emphasizing that the examination date will be communicated.
