Gov AbdulRazaq congratulates new NNPCL GCEO Ojulari, lauds Tinubu

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has welcomed the appointment of Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, a distinguished Kwaran and renowned figure in the oil sector, as the new Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
This was contained in a statement signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Wednesday in Ilorin.
Governor AbdulRazaq described the appointment as a significant achievement for Kwara and its people, coming just days after President Bola Tinubu named Senator Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe as chairman of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), a key institution in the country’s health sector.
The governor congratulated Engr. Ojulari on his appointment and expressed confidence in his ability to fulfill the mandate of the President.
“On behalf of the people and government of Kwara State, I express our profound appreciation to the President for these high-profile appointments. We are proud to be an integral part of his administration,” AbdulRazaq stated.
“Our prayers, best wishes, and support are with the new appointees and those before them.
“With stakeholders rallying behind Engr. Ojulari, we are confident that he will take the oil sector to greater heights. We pray that his tenure records unprecedented success for the country’s oil industry,” the statement added.
