This was contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Friday in Ilorin.

The Governor specifically congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the dawn of the sacred month, during which the Holy Qur’an was revealed to the blessed Prophet Muhammad.

Governor AbdulRazaq thanked Almighty Allah for preserving their lives to witness another Ramadan, praying that He accepts their prayers and acts of worship while granting them spiritual fulfillment, forgiveness, and mercy.

The Governor also urged the community to use the solemn month to pray for a stronger, safer, and more prosperous nation and Kwara State.
