Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has joined other Muslim faithful in performing the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.

Abdulrazaq prayed for Kwara State and Nigeria, beseeching Almighty Allah to accept the Hajj as an act of ibaadah and to grant their humble supplications.

This was contained in a brief message made available to newsmen in Ilorin on Tuesday.

“After spending a few days in Medina, the exalted city of the Prophet, I feel honoured to again stand at the precinct of the blessed House of Allah (Ka’abah) to perform my umrah ahead of the 2025 Hajj rites.

I ask that Allah accept our Hajj as an act of ibaadah and grant our humble supplications for our nation, Nigeria, our state, Kwara, and our families.

As our administration works openly and behind the scenes with different stakeholders to tackle various challenges of governance, I pray that Allah bless our modest human efforts and investments—day and night—for the sustainable peace, prosperity, and security of our people and our communities,” it read.
