Governor Adeleke signs 2025 budget of N427b into law
…pledges commitment to state development

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke on Monday signed the 2025 appropriation bill tagged “Budget of Sustainable Growth and Transformation” into law.
Adeleke said the budget, totaling ₦427,746,925.170.00, will be a key instrument in achieving the five-point agenda of his Government for good governance in the State.
During the signing ceremony, the Governor emphasized the importance of rigorous implementation and monitoring of the budget to ensure it delivers on the expectations of the citizens of Osun.
He directed the Ministry of Economic Planning, Budget, and Development to closely supervise the implementation process and maintain commendable quarterly performance.
His words: “I direct Ministries, Agencies and Departments to vigorously pursue the implementation for the benefit of the citizens of the state. Our budget performance must continue to be commendable on a quarterly basis.
“I further direct the Ministry of Economic Planning, Budget and Development to as usual monitor the implementation process for delivery according to targets and expectations.”
Adeleke reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to the people of Osun State, pledging that the signed budget would serve as a faithful instrument to fulfill their expectations.
“To Osun people, I assure you that this Budget will be rigorously implemented to deliver on your expectations. The Appropriation Act will be our faithful instrument to deliver on the five point agenda for good governance.”
