Governor Mutfwang congratulates Stella Din-Jacob on NTA appointment
Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State has congratulated Stella Din-Jacob on her appointment as the new Executive Director, News, of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
In a goodwill message, Mutfwang expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding a daughter of Plateau State worthy of such a strategic role. He described the appointment as recognition not only of Din-Jacob’s professional achievements but also of Plateau’s tradition of producing distinguished personalities contributing to national development.
The governor expressed confidence that Din-Jacob would bring to bear her decades of experience in the broadcast industry, having served with Silverbird Group, Minaj Broadcast Group, Channels Television, and TVC News, where she made significant impact in shaping public discourse and strengthening national cohesion.
He lauded her leadership in managing one of the country’s largest newsrooms, where she demonstrated vision, balance, and fairness in reporting, thereby influencing governance and promoting democratic values.
Mutfwang further extolled her resilience, integrity, and commitment to justice, equity, and professionalism. He urged her to continue embodying the values of excellence, empathy, tolerance, and accommodation, which he said reflect the true Plateau spirit and are vital for building peace and unity in Nigeria.
On behalf of the government and people of Plateau State, the governor warmly felicitated with Din-Jacob and prayed for God’s grace, strength, and good health as she assumes her new responsibility of repositioning the NTA as a credible platform for fostering peace, unity, and national development.
