Group lauds Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA Chairman on impactful governance

A socio-political group, The Progressives Group (TPG), has lauded the Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (AILCDA) in Lagos State, Abiodun Agbaje for the achievements within his 100 days in office.

The group in a statement issued on Saturday by its National Chairman, Wusu Shakiru Ajiyon, said the Council Chairman had demonstrated purposeful, people focused leadership and made remarkable progress since he was sworn-in.

Ajiyon said the Council Chairman’s achievements so far stood “as a refreshing example of what dedicated local governance can achieve when driven by sincerity and strategic planning”.

“Under his leadership, Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA has witnessed visible transformation across key sectors from seven ongoing road projects spanning all wards, to the Renewed Hope Cash Fund Initiative, thereby stimulating grassroots empowerment. The distribution of 300 free GCE forms to indigent students underscores his administration’s strong commitment to education and youth development.

“Equally commendable are the establishment of a proactive Environmental Taskforce improving sanitation and waste management, and the Widows Empowerment Programme, which continues to bring relief and dignity to vulnerable families across the LCDA”.

The group therefore applauded Hon. Agbaje for redefining local governance through accountability, inclusiveness, and innovation, saying “His leadership has become a credible model for grassroots transformation and a testament to the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“We encourage other council chairmen across Lagos State and beyond to emulate this example of focused service delivery and to sustain the spirit of progress that truly connects governance to the people”.
