Gunmen kill APC Chieftain in Lagos
Gunmen have killed Mr Goke Francis Oguntulu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshodi area of Lagos State.
According to sources, Oguntulu was shot at a private function attended by many guests on Adeyemi Street, close to Owoseni Primary School in Oshodi.
Sources informed WesternPost that the incident happened on Friday but that the deceased died on Sunday at a private hospital where he was rushed to when the incident occurred.
It was gathered that the gunmen stormed the function and started shooting sporadically in the air but left after thr APC chieftain had been shot.
Oguntulu who was said to have returned few weeks ago from a short trip to the United States until his death was the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Mr Kehinde Oloyede.
He also served under the government of the immediate past Council chairman, Mr Bolaji Ariyo .
His remains have been deposited at the mortuary.
