Health Minister appoints LAUTECH Dean into NMCN board
Health Minister, Dr. Ehanire Osagie, has approved the appointment of Prof. Bayo Lawal Ajibade, Dean, Faculty of Nursing Science at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, into the Governing Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
In a letter dated December 29, 2021 and signed on his behalf by the Director of Hospital Services in the Ministry, Dr. Adebimpe Adebiyi, the minister explained that the appointment should be viewed as an opportunity to make useful and selfless contribution towards the upliftment of healthcare service delivery in Nigeria.
The letter congratulated Prof. Ajibade over the appointment and added that the duration of his appointment was at the discretion of the organization that he represents.
