Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has revealed why he turned down offers worth millions of naira in order to serve schoolchildren.
Despite being one of the most sought-after artists in the country, the rapper said he remains grounded and committed to causes that align with his values.
He explained that he recently drove for hours to Osun State to spend time with children in a classroom, prioritizing the experience over lucrative opportunities.
“Music is more than just the music,” Odumodublvck said. “I’m arguably the hottest artist in the country right now. But I still drove six hours to Ife, turning down offers worth millions of naira, just to serve schoolchildren.”
He emphasized that his decision was rooted in a deeper purpose, adding that serving children connects him to a higher calling.
“The main reason I’m serving the kids is because the closest thing to God is the children. So, if you serve children, you serve whatever purpose that you are after,” he added.
